Defining Customer Service

One can rarely get a chance to make another first impression. A first time customer will only be a one-time customer if his/her first encounter with the front line staff doesn’t meet expectations.

Do these things if you really want to achieve so much as a customer service manager;

  1. Give a Good First Impression 
  2. Learn to Listen and Ask
  3. Know Your Product
  4. Provide Proper Attention
  5. Use Positive Language
  6. Have Time Management Skills
  7. Understand Customers
  8. Maintain a Calming Presence
  9. Have Persuasive Skills
  10. Willingness to Learn
  11. Smile Always

A picture, an artist says speak a thousand words.  No matter your profession. Customer service cuts across all endeavors.

My definition of customer service is

Any condition that involves you managing a prospective client or existing customer in such a way that it brings the customer back to you and then put smile to both you and the customers faceHenry Oster Onyemah

Be a good customer service manager, it cost nothing to be nice but cost a lot not to be.
